At Rochester students can choose from over 40 subjects on flexible 1 year and 2 year A level & GCSE courses with a start in September, January or April. The college is situated in the beautiful and historic city of Rochester which is 37 min train journey from central London. The Rochester College itself is based in an enclosed campus of historic Georgian buildings with award-winning gardens, student allotment, underground theatre space and Mathematics garden house.

A distinctive feature of Rochester Independent College is its academic rigour across all subjects. It is famous for its outstanding Mathematics and Science teaching combined with superb creative, film, music technology and digital arts teaching. The college received multiple awards for English and English Literature teaching.

Half of the students at the college are boarders. Students all live on-site in single rooms (with some en-suites available) and breakfast, lunch, and dinner are freshly prepared on the premises. Boarding houses also have comfortable common rooms where film nights and other social activities take place every week. .
